Installation Procedures for a Web Server

1. Place the Firewall and Router Fundamentals CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, label side up
2. Copy the files from the CD-ROM to the web server
3. Remove CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive

Installing Netscape 7.02 

1. Place the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, label side up
2. Click "Start" in the lower left corner of the screen
3. Click "Run"
4. Click on "Browse" and select the CD-ROM drive
5. Double-click on the "Netscape 7.02" folder
6. Click "netscape702_sd701.exe"
7. Follow the instructions to install Netscape 7.02

To run the CD-ROM

1. Place the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, label side up
2. Launch either "Netscape" or "Internet Explorer" web browser

Netscape Running Procedures

1. Click "File"
2. Click "Open File" which will pop up the "Open File" window
3. Select the CD-ROM drive
4. Select the "start.htm" file
5. Click on the "Open" button
6. Click on the "Open" button from the "Open File" window to run the file 


Internet Explorer Running Procedures

1. Click "File"
2. Click "Open" which will pop up the "Open" window
3. Click on "Browse" and select the CD-ROM drive
4. Select the "start.htm" file
5. Click on the "Open" button
6. Click "OK" to run the file
